Frequently Asked Questions

What is an EA backtest report?
An EA (Expert Advisor) backtest report is an HTML file generated by MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 when you test a trading strategy against historical data. It contains trade-by-trade results, equity curves, and performance metrics. You can generate one from your MT4/MT5 Strategy Tester.
Is my data safe?
Your raw MT4/MT5 backtest files are parsed locally in your browser and never uploaded. After each analysis, your browser sends us aggregated, anonymous portfolio metrics (EA names, return %, drawdown, etc.) so we can improve the service — we never see your individual trades, prices, lot sizes, account number, or broker details. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics. See our Privacy Policy for full disclosure.
What file formats are supported?
We support standard HTML reports from both MetaTrader 4 (Strategy Tester Report) and MetaTrader 5 (Backtest Report). Simply export the report as HTML from the Strategy Tester and drop it into the upload zone.
Do I need to create an account?
No, you can use the free tier without signing up. An account is only needed for cloud session saves and paid features. You can analyze portfolios immediately.
What's the difference between Free, Solo, Studio, and Lifetime Founder?
Free lets you validate the tool with up to 3 EAs and 3 analyses per month. Solo ($39/mo or $299/yr) unlocks unlimited analyses, full Research Note narrative, Monte Carlo, correlation matrix, What-If lot multiplier, the Pass Lab propfirm pass-rate calculator, Sync 1 live MT4/MT5 account with Drift Watch, PDF/CSV export, and cloud sessions. Studio ($99/mo or $899/yr) adds unlimited multi-account Sync, public profile (/u/{handle}), the Workspace cockpit (Cmd-K, 14 shortcuts, 3-column layout), walk-forward re-optimization, white-label PDF, API access, and priority queue. Lifetime Founder (€399 one-time, capped 200 seats) is a permanent Solo-tier purchase with a Founder badge — opens 60 days post-launch.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your Solo or Studio subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Lifetime Founder is a one-time purchase that does not auto-renew.
